sketchpads
Artists' paper pads
Sketchpads are pads of paper designed for drawing, typically with heavier-weight pages suitable for pencil, charcoal, or light media.
Artists carry sketchpads to capture ideas quickly: She filled sketchpads with studies of hands and faces.
The term extends to digital drawing applications that simulate the experience.
