short-sleep
Quick restorative rest
Short-sleep describes the trait of naturally requiring less sleep than average—typically six hours or fewer—without impairment.
A small percentage of people are genuine short-sleepers, functioning well on what would leave others exhausted: She's a short-sleeper who's up at 4 a.m. and never needs coffee.
The term also appears as a verb: He short-sleeps during busy seasons.
