lie-in
Delayed getting up
A lie-in is an extended stay in bed past one's usual waking time, typically on a weekend or day off: I'm having a lie-in tomorrow—don't call before noon.
The term is chiefly British; Americans more often say sleeping in.
Separately, a lie-in can be a form of protest where participants lie down in a public space.
