sleep-in

Skip the alarm

A sleep-in is a form of protest where demonstrators occupy a space overnight, or an event where people sleep somewhere collectively for a cause: The students held a sleep-in at the administration building.

Also describes a domestic employee who lives at their workplace.

As an adjective, sleep-in describes arrangements where someone stays overnight: a sleep-in nanny.
