shearers
They fleece flocks
Shearers are people who shear sheep, removing their wool with hand-operated or electric clippers.
The term is especially common in Australia and New Zealand, where sheep farming is a major industry and shearing is skilled seasonal work: The shearers moved from station to station during the spring clip.
