shadowcat
Darkness-dwelling feline specter
A shadowcat is a fictional feline creature in fantasy literature and games, typically a large cat with supernatural stealth abilities—able to melt into shadows or become partially incorporeal.
The term also appears as a codename or alias in comics and other media, most notably for the X-Men character Kitty Pryde, who can phase through solid matter.
