seraph
Highest celestial rank
A seraph is an angel of the highest order, typically depicted with six wings.
The word appears in Isaiah's vision, where seraphim surround God's throne crying "Holy, holy, holy." In broader use, seraph describes any angelic or supremely pure being: She had the face of a seraph.
Plural: seraphim or seraphs.
