Slang for unhinged
Schizo is offensive slang for a person with schizophrenia or, more loosely, anyone perceived as erratic, unpredictable, or mentally unstable.
As an adjective, it describes behavior that seems split or contradictory: The stock market's been totally schizo this week.
The term reduces a serious mental illness to a casual insult and is considered derogatory.
