sanghas
Monastic spiritual assemblies
Sanghas is the plural of sangha, a Sanskrit term for a community of Buddhist practitioners.
In its most traditional sense, sangha refers specifically to ordained monks and nuns, but the word has broadened in Western Buddhism to include any group of people who practice together.
Along with the Buddha and the dharma (teachings), the sangha forms one of the Three Jewels in which Buddhists take refuge.
Our sangha meets every Sunday morning for meditation.
