sandwichman
Human advertising board
A sandwichman is a person who walks through public spaces wearing two advertising boards—one hanging in front, one behind—connected at the shoulders.
The boards sandwich the wearer between them.
The job was common in cities before electronic advertising dominated: A sandwichman shuffled past, promoting a lunch special.
Also sandwich man.
