roller-skating
Rink floor sport
Roller-skating is gliding on wheels attached to shoes or boots, either for recreation, exercise, or sport.
Traditional roller skates have four wheels in a rectangular arrangement; inline skates (rollerblades) have wheels in a single row.
We went roller-skating at the rink on Saturday.
The activity saw peaks of popularity in the 1970s disco era and again in the 1990s.
