ringlight
Circular filming lamp
A ringlight is a circular light that fits around a camera lens, producing even, shadow-free illumination on the subject's face.
Originally used in medical and dental photography, ringlights became standard equipment for beauty content creators and video calls.
The distinctive circular catchlight in the subject's eyes has become a visual signature of social media selfies and influencer videos.
