Peaks along ranges
Ridgetops are the highest points along a ridge—the narrow, elevated crest where slopes fall away on either side.
The term appears often in descriptions of hiking, forestry, and land management: We followed the trail along the ridgetops, Fire spread quickly across the dry ridgetops.
