resurrecting
Raising the dead
Resurrecting is bringing something back from death or dormancy.
The original sense is raising the dead to life, as in Christian accounts of Jesus.
More commonly, resurrecting means reviving what had lapsed or been abandoned: They're resurrecting an old TV series, She resurrected her career after a decade away.
The word implies something was truly gone, not merely paused.
