reshelve
Put books back
To reshelve is to return something to a shelf, especially books to their proper places in a library: Please don't reshelve books yourself—leave them on the cart.
The word implies putting things back where they belong after use or misplacement.
Library staff spend considerable time reshelving materials that patrons have browsed.
