rental agreement
Landlord-tenant binding document
A rental agreement is a contract between a property owner and a tenant that specifies the terms under which the tenant may occupy the property.
It typically covers rent amount, payment schedule, duration of tenancy, and rules governing use of the premises.
Rental agreements may be month-to-month or for a fixed term; the latter are often called leases.
Read the rental agreement carefully before signing.
