reinauguration

Repeated installation ceremony

Reinauguration is the act of inaugurating someone or something again.

The term appears most often in politics, when a president or official who has already been inaugurated takes office for a second term: The reinauguration drew smaller crowds than the first ceremony.

It can also apply to restarting programs, institutions, or traditions after a lapse.
