Nothing fancy, caffeinated
Regular coffee is coffee served in the standard or default way for a given context.
In most of the U.S., this means black coffee or coffee with room for cream.
In parts of the Northeast, especially around Boston and New York, regular coffee comes with cream and sugar already added: I'll have a regular coffee and a donut.
The term also distinguishes caffeinated coffee from decaf.
