redactable

Fit for blacking

Redactable describes something that can be edited or censored, particularly by removing or obscuring sensitive information.

Documents are redactable when their format allows portions to be blacked out or deleted: The PDF was redactable, so we could remove the classified sections before release.

Digital files are more easily redactable than printed pages.
