reauditioned

Sought role twice

Reauditioned is the past tense of reaudition, meaning to audition again for a role or position after an initial audition.

Actors may be reauditioned when casting directors want another look, or when circumstances change: She was reauditioned after the lead dropped out.

The prefix re- signals repetition of the tryout process.
