reaudition

Audition again later

To reaudition is to audition again, typically after an initial audition was unsuccessful or when casting requirements have changed: She reauditioned for the role after the director replaced the lead.

Performers may also be asked to reaudition for roles they already hold, especially when a production transfers or a new creative team takes over.
