reading journal
Literary tracking notebook
A reading journal is a notebook or document where someone records thoughts, reactions, and reflections on books they read.
Unlike a simple reading log that tracks titles and dates, a reading journal captures personal responses—favorite passages, questions, connections to other works: I've kept a reading journal since college.
Some use them to improve retention; others to trace their intellectual development over time.
