r-squared
Model fit measure
R-squared is a statistical measure indicating how well data fits a model, expressed as a value between 0 and 1.
An r-squared of 0.85 means the model explains 85% of the variation in the data.
The closer to 1, the better the fit.
Also written R² or r², it appears constantly in regression analysis: The r-squared was low, suggesting other factors were at play.
