positive correlation
Variables increase together
A positive correlation is a statistical relationship between two variables where they move in the same direction—when one increases, the other tends to increase; when one decreases, the other tends to decrease.
Height and weight have a positive correlation: taller people generally weigh more.
Contrast with negative correlation, where variables move in opposite directions.
