puncturable

Able to burst

Puncturable describes something that can be pierced or punctured—capable of having a hole made in it by a sharp point.

A tire is puncturable; a solid steel block is not.

The word often appears in contexts where vulnerability to puncture matters: puncturable packaging, puncturable skin.

The opposite is puncture-proof or puncture-resistant.
