pocks
Surface pit marks
Pocks are pitted marks or scars on the skin, especially those left by smallpox or similar eruptive diseases.
The word is the plural of pock, the individual pit or pustule.
Pockmarks on a surface suggest similar cratered damage: The old wall was covered in pocks from decades of neglect.
