pin up
Attach with tacks
Pin up means to attach something to a wall or board with pins, tacks, or similar fasteners: She pinned up the notice.
A pin-up is a poster of an attractive person, especially one meant to be displayed on a wall—originally photographs of glamorous women popular with soldiers in World War II.
The term extends to the person depicted: a pin-up girl, a pin-up model.
Pin-up style evokes that mid-century aesthetic of posed glamour.
