pin hole
Minute light opening
A pin hole is a tiny opening the size a pin might make—small enough to seem insignificant but large enough to cause problems: Light leaked through a pin hole in the curtain, a pin hole in the radiator hose.
In photography, a pinhole camera uses such an aperture instead of a lens to project images.
Often written as one word: pinhole.
