Private absence allowance
Personal days are paid time off from work that employees can use for any reason, distinct from vacation days or sick leave.
Unlike sick days, personal days don't require illness or medical appointments—they cover errands, mental health breaks, family obligations, or anything else: I'm taking a personal day to deal with some things at home.
Most employers allot a limited number per year.
