business days
Monday through Friday
Business days are the days of the week when most commercial and government operations are open—typically Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
The term matters for deadlines and delivery estimates: Allow 5-7 business days for processing.
A package shipped Friday might not count Saturday and Sunday toward its transit time.
Also called working days.
