pennyworth
Meager monetary amount
A pennyworth is an amount that can be bought for a penny—by extension, a small quantity or a bargain.
The word survives mainly in the expression put in one's pennyworth, meaning to offer an opinion, especially uninvited.
British English sometimes clips it to pennorth: I'll add my two pennorth.
