paint scraper
Blade removes coatings
A paint scraper is a hand tool with a flat metal blade used to remove paint, wallpaper, or other coatings from surfaces.
The blade is typically rigid and angled for leverage against stubborn material: I used a paint scraper to strip the old finish from the windowsill.
Also called a scraper.
