pack it out
Carry garbage away
Pack it out is the outdoor ethics principle of carrying all your trash and waste back with you when leaving a wilderness area.
The phrase appears in the maxim "pack it in, pack it out"—whatever you bring, you remove.
Rangers and trail signs remind hikers to pack it out rather than leave garbage behind: If you pack it in, pack it out.
