outswinger
Curves toward off
An outswinger is a cricket delivery that curves away from the batsman through the air—moving from leg side toward off side for a right-handed batter.
The bowler achieves this by angling the seam and using wrist position to make the ball swing outward.
Outswingers tempt batsmen to reach for balls they might otherwise leave: He nicked the outswinger to the keeper.
