inswinger

Goal-bound curved ball

An inswinger is a cricket delivery that curves through the air toward the batsman, moving from the off side to the leg side for a right-handed batter.

The bowler achieves this by angling the seam and using wrist position to make the ball swing in late.

An effective inswinger can trap batsmen leg before wicket or bowl them through the gate: He was undone by a perfect inswinger that nipped back and hit the pads.
