orbital path
Around a body
An orbital path is the trajectory followed by an object as it moves around another object under gravitational influence—a planet around a star, a moon around a planet, a satellite around Earth.
The path is typically elliptical, though it may be nearly circular: The comet's orbital path brings it close to the sun every 76 years.
