offscreen
Outside the shot
Offscreen describes what happens outside the visible frame of a film, television show, or video.
A character who speaks offscreen is heard but not seen.
The term extends to actors' lives away from their roles: They married offscreen after meeting on set.
In computing, offscreen refers to content rendered outside the visible display area.
