narcs
Undercover drug cops
Narcs is the plural of narc, slang for a narcotics agent or police officer who investigates drug crimes.
By extension, a narc is anyone who informs on others to authorities: Don't be a narc.
The verb narc means to inform or snitch: Someone narced on us to the principal.
The term carries strong negative connotations of betrayal, especially among those being reported on.
