mud track
Unpaved racing path
A mud track is a racing surface made of packed earth or clay, used for horse racing and some motorsports.
Unlike turf or synthetic surfaces, mud tracks become slick and heavy when wet, favoring certain horses or vehicles: She's a strong finisher on the mud track.
