Wheel's spray blocker
A mud guard is a protective shield mounted over or behind a vehicle's wheel to block mud, water, and debris from being thrown up by the tire.
On bicycles and motorcycles, they're typically called fenders.
On trucks and trailers, mud guards are often flexible rubber flaps: The truck's mud guard was torn off on the highway.
