movie stubs
Proof of admission
Movie stubs are the small portions of tickets retained by moviegoers after the rest is collected at the theater entrance.
They serve as proof of admission and sometimes as keepsakes: I found old movie stubs in my jacket pocket.
People save them as mementos of dates or favorite films.
