mobile tickets
Smartphone entry passes
Mobile tickets are admission passes stored and displayed on a smartphone rather than printed on paper.
They typically appear as a barcode or QR code that gets scanned at entry: I pulled up my mobile tickets at the gate.
Most concert venues, airlines, and sports stadiums now prefer or require mobile tickets over physical ones.
