mouth-organ

Breath-powered reed instrument

A mouth-organ is a harmonica—a small rectangular instrument played by blowing and drawing breath across a row of metal reeds.

The term is somewhat old-fashioned, more common in British than American English: He pulled out a mouth-organ and played a few bars of blues.
