mobilehome

Parked residential trailer

A mobilehome is a prefabricated dwelling designed to be transported to a site, typically on a permanent chassis with wheels.

Unlike RVs, mobilehomes are meant to stay in one location once installed, often in designated parks.

The spelling as one word (rather than "mobile home") appears in legal and regulatory contexts: California mobilehome park regulations.

Also called manufactured home.
