misclicks
Accidental mouse presses
Misclicks are unintended clicks—mouse or touchscreen inputs that hit the wrong target.
The term is common in gaming, where a misclick can waste an ability or select the wrong unit: I meant to heal myself but misclicked and healed the enemy.
The singular misclick works as both noun and verb: I misclicked and closed the whole browser.
