misanthropes
Haters of humanity
Misanthropes is the plural of misanthrope—a person who dislikes or distrusts humanity in general.
The misanthrope doesn't necessarily hate individuals but views human nature with contempt or pessimism: Misanthropes make poor customer service representatives.
The word carries literary overtones from Molière's play of the same name.
