malcontent
Never-satisfied agitator
A malcontent is someone chronically dissatisfied, especially with authority or the established order.
The word suggests more than ordinary complaining—a malcontent nurses grievances and may agitate for change: The meeting attracted the usual malcontents.
As an adjective, it describes this disposition: malcontent employees, a malcontent faction within the party.
