miracle workers
Performers of wonders
Miracle workers are people who accomplish seemingly impossible things.
The term may be literal—those believed to perform divine miracles through faith or supernatural power—or figurative for anyone who achieves extraordinary results against the odds: The surgeons were miracle workers; they saved his leg.
Often used with light irony for everyday competence: The IT guy is a miracle worker—he recovered all my files.
