midways
Fair's game zones
Midways is the plural of midway, referring to the area at a fair or carnival where games, rides, and sideshows are concentrated.
The term comes from the Midway Plaisance at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, where such attractions were first grouped together: State fairs across the Midwest set up their midways in late summer.
