measuring jug
Graduated pouring vessel
A measuring jug is a container marked with graduated measurements for measuring liquids while cooking or baking.
The term is more common in British English; Americans typically say measuring cup, though a jug usually has a spout and handle and holds larger volumes: Pour the milk into the measuring jug.
